LA*Jesus now on Beatport Mixes

I've just released a new mix, fit for the transition from Winter into Spring, which I've cleverly called Born Again (wink). It's also my first mix available for sale on Beatport Mixes. Buying the mix not only supports LA*Jesus, but also the artists on the mix itself, so it's a total win/win.

Born Again includes fresh new tracks from Gigamesh, Kamp!, Tensnake, Ost & Kjex, Two Door Cinema Club, and many others producing in the Nu-Disco, Indie Dance, and Deep House styles.

New Mix Monday + Jesus Freaks Release Party

It's New Mix Monday! Here's my first offering for 2013, called Sail Through Endless Skies. Features tracks from Zimmer, Alison Valentine remixed by Moon Boots, Hood Internet remixed by Only Children, and Lou Teti. Oh, and Black Sabbath remixed by Poolside. And ODB. That's right... O-D-B. Have faith, it works.

JESUS FREAKS, my debut single, will be out April 2nd on Dead 2 Me Records, and will be available through iTunes, Beatport, Juno, Amazon and more.

The JESUS FREAKS Release Party is set for March 28 at Berlin Nightclub in Chicago. We're thrilled to announce that as an extra bonus, we have LIGHT YEAR (Bang Gang/Modular) making his Chicago Debut, all the way from Sydney, Australia.

If you're in Chicago, or nearby, I suggest making plans to come through.

COMING IN JANUARY 2013: "JESUS FREAKS"

As I've been mentioning, a debut single is on the way, due out January 2013 on Dead 2 Me Records, and getting everything in order has been an amazing experience to say the least. That's a photo of me (above) looking on as audio engineer Andy Shoemaker sits at the helm mixing "Jesus Freaks" at Chicago's Rax Trax Recording studio. Not seen, but well deserving of credit is Jamie Wineman, better known as Jimmy Con of the band Ghosthouse, who's assistance in the production of the track has been indispensible since the song's inception.

You can catch the debut performance of "Jesus Freaks" Thursday, December 20th at Chicago Metro. Click here for tickets.

NYE with LA*JESUS at Chicago's legendary Pump Room

On New Year's Eve, come and class it up with me in Chicago's historic Pump Room. Founded way back in 1938, The Pump Room is a restaurant located in the Public Hotel, in it's previous life known as The Ambassador East. I'll be laying down a smooth and sexy soundtrack from 9pm, toasting the New Year, and taking you all the way through the night to 2am.

Several ticket packages are available, and you can learn more by visiting Public's website.

TWO BIG GIGS, ONE HUGE NIGHT

You can catch me twice in one night, Thursday December 20th, starting with an appearance at the legendary Chicago venue Metro. Salonathon Presents: YOU'RE GONNA DIE, A Holiday Fantasia promises to be an unforgettable event, with several acts that made big waves in The Chi this year, including the scandalous rapper Big Dipper and the incomparable Honeybuns.

It is here that you can catch the PREMIER PERFORMANCE of my forthcoming single JESUS FREAKS, complete with The Fabulous Ladies of Fitness starring as, well... my Freaks!!

General admission tickets are still available here.

Visit the event page on Facebook.

To help get you pumped up, have a look at THIS:

After the show at Metro, I'm packin' up the pulpit and heading down to Berlin to close out the first night of the Twelve Days of Porn and Chicken. This, obviously, promises to be a night of uninhibited, um, joy. The PNC guys -- Orville Klein, Phives, and Dom Brown -- will all be there, along with JoJo Baby and Avi-Sic.

RSVP for no cover.

Visit the Event Page on Facebook.

Hope to see you out 12/20 at Metro or Berlin, or both!
